Misty Banknell is the founder of Misty Med Spa & Skin Rx. She started her career in Dermatology in Macon, GA as a Surgical Technologist 25 years ago. With the urging of her boss and mentor, Dr. David Cohen, she later went to physician assistant school at South University in Savannah in 2006.
Misty was very dedicated to her career and was a problem solver. This quickly gained her a name in the community for treating very difficult cases. She is a specialist in everything skin, hair, and nails.
She had a thriving practice in dermatology then she decided to slow down and focus on her love of aesthetics. After moving to Atlanta, she ultimately found the aesthetics industry lacking. Misty is very detailed and has high expectations for herself, staff, and results. This determination to offer the best service led to Misty Med Spa & Skin Rx.
